WWOOF International: Work on Organic Farms

Taking part in a WWOOF programme is a great way to get firsthand experience with organic farming & gardening, to get into the countryside and experience different countries, help the organic movement, and make contact with other people in the organic movement. Individuals must apply independently to each country that they wish to work in. WWOOF organizations compile a list of organic host farms that welcome volunteer help. When individuals become members of a WWOOF organization, they will be put in contact with these host farms. It is then up to the volunteers to contact the host farms that interest them and make their own arrangements with them.
