Volunteering at a Heifer International Learning Center offers a hands-on opportunity to see theory put in to practice and connects participants with a community that is actively working to end hunger and poverty and care for the earth! Experience working examples of the type of sustainable agriculture Heifer supports around the world, tend an organic garden, assist in the gentle care and treatment of livestock or help facilitate educational programs.

Organization details

Heifer's strategy is to “pass on the gift.” As people share their animals' offspring with others – along with their knowledge, resources and skills – an expanding network of hope, dignity and self-reliance is created that reaches around the globe.
