GVI courses offer the individual the chance to gain competence, qualifications and practical experience in conservation, education and outdoor skills. Current courses include Safari Field Guide programs, TEFL courses and language classes.

Formed in 1998, GVI is a non-religious, non-political organization that brings together volunteers from all over the world to work on aid-reliant projects. GVI volunteers work on projects in the fields of education, community development, wildlife research and conservation.
