Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada: Canada-China Postdoctoral Fellowships Supplement

NSERC will award up to 10 supplements of $10,000 per year for two years to successful PDF applicants who specified the People’s Republic of China as a location of tenure for the award. Note: For the purpose of this supplement, tenure will be restricted to “mainland” China, excluding Hong Kong and Macau.

Additionally, NSFC will provide funding of approximately $35,000 for research expenses to eligible professors in China who host an NSERC postdoctoral fellow.

These awards are intended tofacilitate the movement of Canadian postdoctoral fellows to China, and
provide support to postdoctoral fellows and researchers in both countries to travel and participate in international collaborations.
