VIJ- Verein fur Internationale Jugendarbeit: Au pair in Germany

Verein fur Internationale Jugendarbeit (VIJ) is a placement agency for connecting au pairs with families throughout Germany. Mainly au pairs take care of the children during the day. The children can be babies, nursery school children or might even go to school already. Au pairs do the cooking and play with the little ones. Altogether they help with the kids and the housework a maximum of 6 hours a day, respectively 30 hours a week - including the babysitting at night. Au pairs have holidays and are paid a monthly salary.

Participants must speak and understand German and must have previous childcare experience. Candidates should download and print the online application and then send in their application, carefully filled out with their address and telephone number. Do not forget references. Applicants can either mail their documents, fax or email them.
