MAST International: MAST Experience Abroad

The MAST Experience Abroad programme provides qualified individuals the opportunity to travel abroad to gain practical hands-on experience in agriculture, horticulture, agri-business, forestry or related areas. This cross-cultural experience living and working in another country helps participants develop a global perspective and a broader understanding of the world.

Application process
Participants must meet the following requirements: - Single - Good health - High School education required; post-secondary experience preferred (The MAST Experience Abroad (MEA) programme does not require student status, but some countries require proof of current student status – see individual country information) - Minimum six months practical or work experience related to training placement - Knowledge of the host country’s language is preferred; required in some countries To apply, contact the MAST International programme office directly for an application package. Submit your completed application at least four months prior to your anticipated start date.
