GRAVIS: Communications and Marketing Position in India

GRAVIS is a rural development charity working to empower communities in the remote but densely populated Thar Desert in Northern India. Our projects include water security in a region which receives rain on average only 7 days of the year; primary education and basic healthcare in remote regions; and women's empowerment schemes in a country much criticised for its gender inequality.

Based out of our main office in the beautiful blue city of Jodhpur, you will be helping with all of the NGO's marketing and communications, coordinating all social media and PR efforts as well as organising your own trips to the desert with other field staff, in order to collect stories, photos and other creative content to advertise the amazing work the charity does to the outside world. This is a fantastic (paid) opportunity for someone with enthusiasm for media communications to gain international experience, and to live in one of the most vibrant, fascinating cultures in the world.
