Experiential Learning International: Work Abroad

Experiential Learning International (ELI) partners with local organizations to provide international internships in various fields including education, conservation, health care, law, business, media/communications, development and humanitarian work. Internships are created on an individual basis and are designed to develop the participant's skills in their profession.

Application process
Some programs require an extra $140 for each additional 2 weeks after the initial 12 week period. South African internship does not include accommodation. ELI internship placements will appeal to people who wish to gain international work experience in various sectors. It is recommended to apply to the internship of choice 2-3 months before the date of departure. Some countries require participants to have a visa. If a visa is required, this is the responsibility of participant.
