In exchange for childcare in English, au pairs are treated as family members while they take advantage of cultural and educational opportunities. To help au pairs adapt better, this programme provides language support by combining studying in an established Spanish academy in Madrid while au pairs are living with a Spanish family. Summer positions of one to two months as well as three month positions during the year.

Basic Spanish is helpful but not compulsory. Language classes are included in the programme.
Application process
Ideal candidates are female between 18 and 26 years of age, native speakers of English, experience with children, interest in Spanish language and culture and able to commit yourself for at least 3 months (1 or 2 in the summer) with the possibility of renewal if desired. Applications typically take two months to process, so material should be submitted at least two months prior to your anticipated start date.
