Centro de Intercambio y Solidaridad (CIS): Volunteer Programme

Centro de Intercambio y Solidaridad (CIS) offers opportunities for volunteers in the areas of education and social programmes. More specifically, volunteers can donate their time as English teachers or as election volunteers. Volunteers must cover the cost of travel, accommodation, meals and other expenses. The CIS offers half-price Spanish classes to their English teachers when there is another student in the volunteer's class.

Volunteers must be comfortable with conversational Spanish.
Application process
Volunteers must be able to speak Spanish in a conversational manner. For positions as English teachers, volunteers must speak English as their native tongue or as if it were their native tongue. To apply, please submit a letter of interest, resume/CV and one letter of reference by email.
