Association of International Volunteers of Costa Rica. Known locally in Costa Rica as AVIC, is a Costa Rican Non-Profit Association. We offer a range of projects to from teaching, community development, construction, animal and environment conservation. We also make sure you learn about the culture of Costa Rica and we try to integrate you into the local community and to advice you on how best to travel and tour Costa Rica.

Organization details

The foundation was set-up in 2010 to host volunteers in Costa Rica. Hosting involves taking care of arranging placements, pre-arrival, arrival, training, accommodation, food, inspecting and ensuring the smooth operation of a volunteer placement abroad.
