Teacher training courses require students to be fluent in German. Language courses have beginner~ intermediate and advanced levels.
Application process
Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced language classes are available. Online registration is available, and registration in person takes place at the Goethe-Institut Toronto approximately three weeks prior to the course start date. The Goethe-Institut Toronto offers two different educational programs- a German language program as well as further training and development for German teachers in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. The Goethe-Institut's language courses are taught on site in Toronto and use a modern communicative approach and emphasize intercultural understanding to achieve outstanding results. Teacher training and development programs are available in Germany as well as online.
