The Association of Commonwealth Universities: ACU Commonwealth Summer School Bursaries

The ACU Commonwealth Summer School was instigated in 2011. It aims to provide a forum to bring together high quality students from every corner of the Commonwealth to discuss multidisciplinary issues of global importance.

A key element of the School is its desire to mix local and regional students with their peers from all over the Commonwealth who may not have ever had the opportunity to leave their own regions.

The Summer School is hosted in a different country each year. In its previous four years it has been held in Cameroon, Botswana, the United Kingdom, Malaysia and Canada.

Organization details

The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) is the world's first and oldest international university network, established in 1913. A UK-registered charity, the ACU has over 500 member institutions in developed and developing countries across the Commonwealth.
