Montezuma is a small beach town on Costa Rica's Nicoya Peninsula that thrives on a vibrant tourism industry. Town artisans, restaurant owners and tour operators alike depend on the thousands of American and European tourists who come to Montezuma every year for its sandy beaches, picturesque waterfalls, and canopy excursions. By offering free English classes to local residents, Proyecto Montezuma enables them to secure jobs in Costa Rica's growing tourism industry
