Coral Cay Conservation: Conservation Expeditions

Coral Cay Conservation currently has a marine site based in the Philippines, and a terrestrial and marine site in Montserrat. Taking part in one of our expeditions is an amazing opportunity to see some of the most spectacular reefs in the world all whilst doing your bit to help conserve them. By joining us on a diving expedition you will learn how to dive, or improve your skills, in some of the most bio-diverse locations in the world, and become adept at identifying corals, fish and a host of other marine creatures. Our terrestrial expedition will give you the opportunity to contribute to the on-going monitoring and management of Montserrat, allowing you the chance to become adept in the surveying of birds, amphibians, reptiles and plants. Make friends that will last a lifetime and have experiences that will change the way you view the world and your place in it!

What participants need to join an expedition: * Enthusiasm, dedication and a keen interest in conservation. * A minimum age of 16. * Teamwork spirit. * Moderate level of fitness. * Sense of adventure and fun. * The ability to speak and read English as all expedition training is given in English. What participants don't need * Science background or qualifications - they teach the participants what they need to know. * Scuba training or specialist skills - training is provided. * Lots of money - fundraising advice provided. * Lots of time - expedition lengths start at 2 weeks.
